Yuri’s Night collaborates with StarPeace
Monday, January 19, 2009
Yuri’s Night and StarPeace will collaborate on promoting astronomy and space among people on Earth.

When we look at the Earth from space there is no border. The only thing that we can see from Earth through space is the blue and white marble in the infinite dark universe; without any boundaries and borders.

Yuri’s Night and StarPeace will collaborate on promoting astronomy and space and making changes on Earth by the wonders and beauties of space.

Yuri’s Night is a celebration of humanity’s achievements in space. Each April 12, people from around the world come together to mark the anniversary of Yuri Gagarin’s first flight into space (in 1961) and the first launch of the US Space Shuttle (in 1981).

We ask all of our participants around the world to take part in Yuri’s Night 2009 party week of April 4th through 12th. Check the website and register for Yuri’s Night party. Keep in mind that we are here to show that there is no border for science and all of the people around the world are one people.

Let's "Dream, Explore and Celebrate"! (Yuri's Night motto)
