From 3 to 6 October 2008 TWAN, in cooperation with Nehru Planetarium, held an international workshop on “The Earth and the Sky, Astrophotography and Image Processing” in India. Irene Shivaei, a member of StarPeace group took part in the workshop and gave a speech about StarPeace project.

Most of the participants were Indians and also there were astronomers from Nepal.

StarPeace hopes to have India and Nepal joining the project in IYA2009.
